A part of me seeks reassurance and validation
Since words can heavily shift your mood
Which can put you at ease temporarily
Yet you have to find your own peace
Thinning myself short
Prioritizing others than myself
Realizing that it has become unhealthy
Continuously showed care to everyone
Eventually taking a toll on my mentality
Constantly thinking about a way out
Whether it's taking the initiative to step away from media
Or distracting myself with social interactions or going out
To heal the void in my mind.
You are in control of your actions
Therefore live for yourself
Rely on your strengths
To achieve your goals
